Gilhooly, Sharon June
We announce with deep sadness our beloved mother, wife and grandmother Sharon Gilhooly (nee Nesbitt), passed away peacefully after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease on January 29th, 2017, at the age of 75 in Richmond, BC. She is lovingly survived by her husband David, her children Sean (Elaine) and Christa (Mike), her sister Carmel Currie (Paul) and stepmother Carol Nesbitt, grandchildren Gabi and Rosie Budai and nieces Carleen, Nicole and Makena Currie. Born in 1941 Limerick, Saskatchewan. She is predeceased by father Charles Ian Nesbitt and Thelma Hanson (Nesbitt). Sharon moved to Vancouver in the early 60’s where she married David in 1967 and they then settled in Richmond in 1973. Sharon loved music, crosswords, puzzles, books, and the Miami Dolphins and Saskatchewan Roughriders. No funeral service is planned.
