WAYNE HENRY “BINKY, WEINER” KALANUK
NOVEMBER 17, 1948 – FEBRUARY 5, 2017
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend, Wayne Kalanuk. He was predeceased by his father Peter Kalanuk; Uncle Henry Meyer, Aunt Mary (Peter) Westaski, Uncle Bill (Vera) Kalanuk, Uncle Kelly (Rose) Kalanuk; mother-in-law Doris and father-in-law Gordon Hurlburt and brother-in-law Scott Handspiker. Wayne will be sadly missed by his wife Jean; mother Irma; sons Marc and his son Dax and his mom Jaala, Jeremy (Angelika) and his son Taylor; brother Farley (Nancy) their children Sharma and Lindsay Jo; Aunt Mandy (Tommy) Hobbs ; cousins Lori (Gary) Bachart, Kevin (Donna) Hobbs and their families; sisters-in-law Sue (John) Hales, Carol (Bob) Connors, Judy Handpsiker and their families; Uncle George (Eunice) Kalanuk and their family; Verna (Ray) Busby and their family, as well as numerous other Hobbs, Wetaski and Kalunuk relatives. A Celebration of Wayne’s life will be held at W. J. Jones & Son Chapel, 106 Athabasca St. E, on Friday February 10, 2017 at 2:00PM. Della Ferguson will officiate. For those so wishing memorial donations may be directed to Kidney Association or Charity of Choice. In living memory of Wayne, a memorial planting will be made by W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Home.
