Passed away at his residence in Kelligrews on Monday, February 6, 2017, age 85 yrs. Predeceased by his loving wife Ida. Leaving to mourn with loving memories daughter Mabel, son Blair (Judy), grandson Alex, who was pop's pride and joy, brothers-in-law Howard Morgan (Elsie) and Edward Morgan (Mildred), also a large number of cherished nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Walter was a member of the Prince of LOL #23 Kelligrews, Rainbow Royal Preceptory #867, Freemason Avalon Lodge #2, and Society of United Fishermen Lodge #33. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm, Saturday from 10 am - 12 noon. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 2 pm from All Saints Anglican Church, Foxtrap. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery, Dunn's Hill Road, Foxtrap.
