Peacefully with family by his side, we announce the passing of William (Billy) Martin at the Kings County Memorial Hospital on February 8, 2017 at the fully lived life of 89 years. Billy is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Grace (nee Docherty), his son Robert (Ginny) Martin of Brooklyn, daughter Helen (Winston) Nicholson of San Antonio, Texas and son Eugene (Bev) Arsenault of Alliston. Taking up most of his heart was the love of all of his grandchildren and great grandchildren who will not doubt carry on his legacy. Billy is also survived by his sisters Charlotte Ross, Mary (Dan) MacLeod, Peggy MacKinnon and brother Johnny (Chrissie) Martin as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Billy is predeceased by his parents, Donald and Julie Martin, as well as sisters Tina and Catherine. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 from 4 to 6 p.m. with memorial service to immediately follow.
