Sadly the family wishes to announce the passing on Thursday, February 9, 2017 of Sterling Clarence Campbell age 85 of Montague, devoted husband of Kathryn (Millar) Campbell. Born July 27, 1931 on the Peters Road, he was the son of the late Clarence and Florence (Hayter) Campbell. Besides his wife he is survived by his loving daughters, Angela Martin (Kevin) of Ontario and Maureen Campbell (Ryan Henwood) of Ontario; cherished grandchildren Ben Martin and Emersyn Henwood; Brothers and sisters Barbara Fraser, James Campbell, Florence Carver, Bertha Dixon (William), Lester Campbell (Louise Shephard), Charles Campbell (Barbara), Carl Campbell, several nieces and nephews. Sterling was predeceased by brothers, Glen Campbell, Garnet Hayter; sister Irene Collings (Edison), brothers-in-law, Otis Carver and John Fraser. Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting on Sunday, February 12th, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral to take place on Monday, February 13th from the Hillcrest United Church, Montague at 11 a.m. Interment at a later date.
