William (Bill) Lambert Bernard of Mayberry District passed away quite unexpectedly at the age of 84 on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at his home on the farm. Bill was born in Moose Jaw on February 18, 1932. He attended school in Montreal. Bill was predeceased by his wife of 51 years, Darlene; his parents Jean and Amy Bernard; in-laws Lawrence and Doris Hall; brothers John, Barry and Maurice Bernard; son-in-law Brian Kerfoot. He will be deeply missed by daughters Debra (Brad) Mutlow and grandson Daniel, Bonnie (Michael) Keogan and grandchildren David, Dillon and Fallon; sons René (David Cohan) and granddaughters Stephanie and Jessica and their mother Sandie, Noel (Rhea) and grandchildren Macala, Dana and Emmett; other family Murray Bernard, Edna Bernard, Yvonne Bernard, Wayne (Dorothy) Hall, numerous nieces, nephews and cousin. A Celebration of Bill’s Life will be held at Zion United Church, 423 Main St. N., Moose Jaw, SK on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 1:30PM. Reverend Doug Hallman will officiate. Interment to follow at Sunset Cemetery. Memorial donations may be directed to the Shriners Hospital for Children Canada, 2065 Hamilton Street, Regina, SK S4P 2E1.
