JACQUARD, Raymond John Louis – age 57 of Yarmouth, passed away February 20, 2017 at Yarmouth Regional Hospital, with family by his side. Born in Yarmouth on August 31, 1959, Raymond was the son of the late, Alfred and Loretta (Pero) Jacquard. Raymond was a great cook, he cooked in the military until his retirement in 2001 as a warrant officer. Up until his diagnosis, he was employed as a cook at Lotus Garden. Many knew him as the "eggroll and chicken ball maker". He is survived by his loving wife, Karen (Blanchard) Jacquard, Yarmouth; children, Bruce James (Krista), Yarmouth; Shaun Paul (Monica), Fort St. John, B.C.; stepchildren, Nick and Samantha Doucet, both of Yarmouth; siblings, Michael GN Jacquard (Jackie), Tusket; Charles JH Jacquard (Crystal), Saint John, N.B.; Timothy “Tim” AP Jacquard (Sue Judges), Pembroke, Ont.; Patricia “Patsy” MA LeBlanc (Russ), Whitby, Ont.; Caroline “Carol” JM Hudson (Bill), Yarmouth; grandchildren, Ethan, Felix and Andrea. Funeral arrangements were under the care and direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth. There was no visitation. A funeral service was held on Friday, February 24th, 2017 at 1 p.m. in the Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Yarmouth, Deacon Stephen Bourque officiating. Family flowers only.
