It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Douglas Tucker of Grand Falls, NB on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 after a short, but courageous battle with cancer. Doug was born in Moncton, NB in 1973 and raised in Goulds, NL. He was the son of Clayton and Alvida (Vautour) Tucker. He is also survived by his father and mother-in-law, Yves and Rachel Dionne of Grand Falls, NB; sisters-in-law Lisa Dionne (Mario Pelletier) of Drummond, NB and Marise Chapman (Jason) of Souris, PEI, many special friends that were like brothers to him. Doug was a member of the NB Road Builders Association. Doug's working career was alongside his father Clayton, eventually taking over ownership of Clayco Construction, undertaking jobs from Alberta to Newfoundland. Doug loved the outdoors spending many happy hours at his cottage with France, the children, family and friends. For those who wish, donations to the Children's Wish Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

"People that knew Doug would say he never did anything halfway, but rather jumped in with both feet and much success in the outcome. He will be greatly missed and always loved."
