LEBLANC, Zane Vincent – Age 67, of Sluice Point. It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Zane Vincent LeBlanc on February 22nd, 2017. Zane was the eldest son of the late Judge Vincent Gaulbert Leblanc. He is survived by his mother, Jeanette LeBlanc; wife, Sharon LeBlanc; son, Michael LeBlanc (Tanya); daughter, Amber Jacquard (Evan); stepson, Shannon King (Heidi); grandchildren, Xavier, Avary, Zoey; step grandchildren, Samantha, Sara, and Scarlette; sisters, Mona LeBlanc, Doreen Clamp, Carmel Moriarty (Colin); brothers, Mark LeBlanc (Colette), and Paul LeBlanc; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Vincent; brother, Philip; brother-in-law, Murray. Zane worked for Marine Atlantic for many years and was currently employed by R & K Murphy. Zane loved to joke and tease and could be found most early mornings with his Tim Hortons pals. He enjoyed going to camp with his buddies. He loved his grandchildren and his dog Buddy. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of H.M. Huskilsons Funeral Home, 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth. By request of the family there will be no visitation. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, February 27th at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, Amirault's Hill, Father Maurice LeBlanc officiating. Memorial donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or the Canadian Diabetes Association of Nova Scotia. Family flowers only.
