Passed peacefully away at Bonne Bay Health Centre in Norris Point on Sunday February 26, 2017, Joseph Payne at the age of 84 years. Leaving to mourn his wife of 55 years Sabina Clara (nee Ellsworth). His children Wayne (Marlene), Mike (Faye), Pearl, Tom (Elizabeth), Max, Linda (Darren), Jason (Charmaine), and Michelle (Conrad). Grandchildren Jamie, Sherri, Jason, Jeanie, Levi, Travis, Jonathan, Bradley, Ashley, Amanda, Hannah, James, Nathan, Kelsey, Dustin. Great-grandchildren Cash, Pasey, Lilly, Noah, Jordan, Bella, Theo, Claire, Chloe, Mackenzie, Megan, Isabelle. Also a large circle of extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his son Joseph Jr., parents Isaac Manse Payne and Helen Elizabeth Payne (nee Gilley), siblings Hannah Payne, Mildred Payne, Eli Payne, Emma Decker, Esau Payne, Jacob Payne, Thomas Payne, Mary Welsh, John Payne, Stella Payne, Lilly Payne, parents-in-law Norman Frederick Ellsworth and Ethel May Ellsworth (nee Brown). Visitation will take place from the Anglican Church in Rocky Harbour, NL, on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 and Wednesday March 1, 2017 where also funeral service will take place on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at 2 pm. with Rev.
