Beric Bruce Reid of Dildo entered into eternal rest on March 4, 2017, at the age of 91, at the Dr. Leonard A. Miller Centre, Palliative Care Unit. He was predeceased by his parents, Elijah and Rosalie Reid; sister Priscilla and her husband Harold George, nephew, Harry George. Leaving to cherish the precious memories are his wife of 66 years, Alma, their children; Glenn (Joanne); Bernice (Frank Kelly), Marilyn, Violet (Kent Pilgrim), Doug (Carol), Carl (Sherry), Kathy (Geoff White), Sharon (David Day) and his 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Two nephews Bruce (Wilda) and Neal (Rhonda) George, sisters-in-law, Nancy (John Wiseman) and Mary Reid as well as a large number of other relatives and friends. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Doctor Pike and her team of 4 South A. as well as Doctor Slaney, the staff and volunteers at the Palliative Care Centre for their wonderful care and compassion over the last couple of months. Resting at Warren's Funeral Home, Dildo with visitation on March 6th and March 7th 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm. The funeral service will be held from the Salvation Army Citadel TBS Corps, Dildo on March 8th at 2:00 pm. Interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Dildo. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army Band towards the purchase of a new Instrument. Dad, we will always remember your special smile, your loving heart and the warm embrace that you gave everyone. We will cherish our family time forever.
