Patrick (Pat) Jonathan Gaudet

On Sat March 4, 2017, Patrick (Pat) Gaudet, of Oliver BC and formally from Prince Edward Island passed away at the Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster, BC at the age of 45 years. Predeceased by his father John Gaudet in 1991. Survived by his beloved wife, Yvonne Gaudet (Greaves) and cherished daughters Kiera Jack and Maura Kendall; his mother Melinda (Ernie) Mulligan of Central Bedeque, PEI; in-laws, Roger and Margaretta Greaves; brother-in-law Michael (Judie) Greaves and their children Darryan, Jaylan and Shaylyn; brother-in-law Anthony (Karen) and Kyla Greaves of Chateauguay Quebec; sister-in-law, Jacqueline (Philip) and their children Philip Jr., Miles, and Jade of Atlanta, Georgia; his aunt, Joyce (Johnnie, deceased) McCardle and children Melissa, Albert (Kathy), Lorelei (Darren) Baker and Marc McCardle. Over the years, Pat worked for Sutco Contracting Limited, Wildmare Contracting Ltd, Old Castle Glass Trucking Company, Tinhorn Creek Winery and Alberta Spirits in Canmore, Alberta and served as a member of the joint OH&S Committee with Sutco. Family time was Pat’s priority and he enjoyed many family vacations to the Seattle area where they enjoyed the Great Wolf Lodge Fun Park for many years when the girls were younger as well as family vacations to Canmore, Montreal and PEI. Pat also enjoyed woodworking, was a wine connoisseur and was a certified Sommelier. He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and volunteered with the 1st Oliver Scouts as Quartermaster. A memorial mass will be celebrated by Fr. Neil Lustado at 11 a.m. Friday March 10, 2017 at Christ the King Catholic Church, Oliver, BC. Donations gratefully accepted for the PEI Paraplegic Association or a charity of ones choice.
