Aged 53
It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Blaine Bruce James of Herring Cove, NS formerly of PEI. A well known businessman and owner of Seascape Building Maintenance. Husband of Laura Lee (nee Irons) James and Father of Tanner Lucas James of Herring Cove. Blaine was an avid sport fisherman of shark and tuna, he was the past president and founding member of the NS International Tuna Tournament, during which time the tournament raised $250,000.00 for the IWK. Blaine was famously known for his annual community music fest each year at his cottage in Brudenell, PEI. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Halifax Exhibition Park, The Prospect Room, NS on Tuesday, March 14th, 2017 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the IWK Children’s Wish Foundation.
