Blue Cove
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lenora (Annie) Gillingham announces her passing on Thursday, March 2nd 2017 at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony. She was 81 years old. Annie leaves to mourn her son Michael Gillingham (Caroline); granddaughters Cicely Ann Gillingham and Katherine (Chris) Gill; great-grandchildren Matthew (Kennedy) and Monique Gillingham; great-greatgrandchild Willow, all of Labrador City; her sister Marie Anderson (Willie), Irishtown; special nephew Reg Locke (Pauline Gilley), Corner Brook; special friends Bob and Maryann Dredge, Blue Cove; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, friends, and the families of Reginald Rumbolt and John Pittman. Annie was predeceased by her baby son James, parents Chelsey and Mary Jane Locke, brothers Jim (Blanche) and Willis (Rebecca) and very special friends in life Reginald Rumbolt and John Pittman. Visitation was held at The Church of Advent in Plum Point from where the funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on the 8th day of March with Rev. Jennifer Renouf officiating. Interment will follow out to Darby's Island. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Siobhan Mauger, funeral director.
