It is with great sadness that the family of the late JANET DOUGLAS of Fortune announces her passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Friday, March 3rd, at the age of 76. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are husband, Thomas Douglas; son, Stephen Douglas (Monique) of Gibbons, AB; sisters, Joan Martin (Bob) of Bolton, ON, Roma Fraser of Hamilton, ON; sisters-in-law, Phyllis Blagdon & Elizabeth Ann Remington (Michael); brothers, Eugene Korrey of Prince Edward Island, Jim Korrey (Kay) of Hamilton, ON; 2 grandchildren, Nathan & Nicholas Douglas; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by parents, Salem & Regina Korrey; parents-in-law, Clyde Lou & Sarah Douglas; sisters-in-law, Mary Lou & Gwen.

The Funeral Service took place at All Saints Anglican Church in Fortune on Sunday, March 5th, at 2:00 pm. Cremation followed.

In Janet’s memory donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or flowers gratefully accepted.
