1923 – 2017
Jessie Kathleen (Kay) Barlow of Ottawa, Ontario, died peacefully at the Ottawa General Hospital very early in the morning of March 18, 2017. She was predeceased by her parents Earl and Marjorie Boulter, Albany, Prince Edward Island. Kay was also predeceased by her husband Walter, son David and sister Jean Boulter. Kay is survived by her daughter Sheila, son Gregory (Heather), grandson Michael (his mother Michele), daughter-in-law Anita and nephew Vincent (Suzette). She is also survived by her cousins – Arthur Thomas; Shirley Thomson; Helen Carr; Jessie MacPhail; Heather MacDonald; John MacKay; Lois Thurgood and Doreen Squires. Kay cherished her annual summer visit home to the Island to spend time with family and friends. Heartfelt thanks for the kindness and compassion of the hospital doctors and staff. Many thanks also to the caring staff of Bayshore Home Health, who helped give Kay two good weeks at home with her family in February. A memorial service will take place in Ottawa on April 8, 2017.
