Peacefully, with her family by her side at the Atlantic Baptist Nursing Home on Thursday, March 23, 2017 of Mrs. Rose A. MacInnis (nee MacDonald) of Charlottetown and formerly of Souris, age 86 years. Beloved wife of the late Joseph R. MacInnis and dear mother of Joanne Graham, Ian (Kelly McCarron) MacInnis and Cathy Dixon. She is also survived by three loving grandchildren Emma and Tyler MacInnis and Logan Dixon; sisters and brothers, Frances MacDonald, Helen Dunbar-Weir, Jean MacDonald, James (Theresa) MacDonald and Kenny (Joan) MacDonald. She was predeceased by her parents Andrew & Mae (nee Kearney) MacDonald; grandson, Nathan Dixon; sister, Isabel Finnerty and her brothers Alfred and Andrew MacDonald. Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Monday, then transferred to St. Pius X Church for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment later in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
