It is with great sadness that the family of the late Genevieve Mary Holloway announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit, on Saturday March 25, 2017 at the age of 64 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her son Edward Dobbin (Stephanie); grandchildren: Madison and Edward 3rd; the closest thing to a sister to Edward, Vicki King-Caines (Stephan), stepchildren: Paula Ash (David), Shawn Holloway (Suzanne); step-grandchildren: Samantha (Sammy), Ryan, Nichole, Brittany and Matthew; great-grandchild Enna; mother: Frances Cora Bennett (Fanny); brother: Alphonsus Bennett (Linda); sisters: Marguerite Keough, Lillian Keough (Fraser), Vera Hatcher, Grace Drover (Russ), Gloria Bennett, Madonna King (Glen); uncles: Ronald Bennett (Olive), Gordon Bennett (Margaret); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husbands: Edward Thomas Dobbin and Douglas Roland Holloway; father George William Bennett. In keeping with Genevieve's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private memorial service with immediate family and close friends will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel, 167 Country Road, on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. from where the funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. with Father Andrew White officiating. Interment will take place at a later date. A special thanks to the nurses and doctors of 4A surgical unit and palliative care unit at Western Memorial Hospital. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted, or donations may be made to the Western Memorial Hospital Palliative Care Unit.
