OBITUARY
MARY WILLIAMS

Mary Williams passed away peacefully surrounded by family at James Paton Memorial Health Center in Gander, NL. She was predeceased by her husband George in 1966, grandson Rene in 1998 and her daughter Yvonne in 2000.
Mary was born in Sweet Bay on July 4, 1919. She moved to Gander in 1946 and married the love of her life, George Williams in 1950. They had five children, Linda, Terry, Yvonne, George, Mary, eleven grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Mary spent her life as a mother and friend to all. Her sense of humor, generosity and kindness will be forever cherished. Highly devoted to her faith, she was passionate about sewing and quilting, and loved her garden and card games. She lived her life to the fullest and enjoyed living at home until the end.
Rested at Stacey's Funeral Home, Gander. Funeral Mass was held on Thursday, March 30th at 2:00 pm at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church. Interment followed the Common Wealth Cemetery.
