It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Clem Steele, age 92, on March 30, 2017, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Clem could often be seen riding his bike in the Sydney area, visiting yard sales for treasures and decorating his home for each season. Clem took great pride in the appearance and upkeep of his home; so much so that it was often photographed by visitors to Cape Breton. Clem was cared about and respected by all who knew him. He will be greatly missed by his family at Cape Breton Community Housing Association, especially Byng Avenue.
We would like to thank the nurses and doctors on 3rd floor of the Cape Breton Regional Hospital and Dr. Murphy for the care and compassion provided to Clem. A celebration of Clem’s life will take place at the SW Chant& Son Funeral Home, at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 6, 2017 with Rev. Sheldon Chant officiating.
