The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Monday, April 17, 2017, of Freeman Fortune, of Summerside, aged 88 years. RCAF Veteran. Born in Jeffreys, NL, he was the son of the late William and Mabel (Bagg) Fortune. Survived by his daughter Wanda (George) Quigley and sons Gary (Joan), David (Jean) and Stephen (Nieva); grandchildren Jason and Johnathan Quigley; Ryan, Matthew and Stewart Fortune. Predeceased by his wife Margaret (Coombs) Fortune. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment later in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside.
