It is with great sadness that the family of the late Delano "Del" Franklin Fowler, age 72, announce his passing at the St. Clare's Hospital, St. John's, NL on Saturday, April 15, 2017. Predeceased by his parents Isaac and Winnifred Fowler; siblings Dorothy "Dot" Hammond (Gary), Gertrude Prahl (Bill), David Fowler, Edward "Ted" Fowler, Viola Tilley (Raymond) and Leonard Fowler; parents-in-law William and Lucy Ward; siblings-in-law Claude Ward (Lorraine), Ruby King (Cyril), James Ward, Wilbert Colbourne, Eileen Ward, Viola Ward and Nina King. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Cora Fowler, St. John's, NL; children Lou-Ann Fowler, St. John's, NL, Tina Fowler (James "Jim" Marshall), Brampton, ON and Cindy Fowler (Phil Lewis), CBS, NL; grandchildren Leah Fowler-Marshall, Abigail Fowler, Frankie Fowler and Madison Fowler-Marshall; brother Gary Fowler (Kathy); siblings-in-law Barbara Fowler, Stella Fowler, Selma Fowler (Francis Edison), Sidney Ward (Beatrice), Ford Ward (Phyllis), Garland Ward (Triffie), Eleanor Wimbleton (Roy), Hilda Colbourne, Cecil Ward (Sandra Bath), Bernice Ward-Green (Donn); many nieces and nephews and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Public visitations to take place from the Salvation Army Citadel, La Scie, NL. Funeral service to follow on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at 2 pm. Interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, La Scie, NL.
