Peacefully at Winbourne Park Long Term Care, Ajax, on April 16, 2017, in her 88th year. Predeceased by her husband Walter (2006). Cherished mother of Carol (Bob), the late David (Heather), Corrie (Deb), Lynn (Bill), Dolores, Chesley (Shelley), and Judy (George). Very proud grandmother of 16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Bernice Shipley of Brookdale, NS, the late Donald Adshade the late Inez O’Donnell. Survived by her sister in law Rowena Pipes, Amherst, NS, Marguerite Sellars, Tatamagouche, NS. Aunt Jen will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews as well as her many friends and colleagues from Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital.
The family will receive friends at Dodsworth and Brown Funeral Home, Robinson Chapel (King Street East at Wellington) Hamilton, 905-522-2496 on Monday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. followed by a funeral service in the chapel at 1 p.m. Interment will take place at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. In lie of flowers, a donation to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
