Angeline Dull

Born: July 28th, 1931

Passed on: April 28th, 2017

It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Angeline Dull, in the early morning hours of April 28, 2017, after a brief battle with cancer. Angeline was born on July 28, 1931 and grew up in Crystal Springs, SK, the only child of Alfred and Anna (Simo not) Turgeon. She always talked about her adventurous childhood, including a – then uncommon – road trip to New York city in her Dad’s 1932 Ford when she was young, and her happy times at the lake. Angeline married Paul Dull in 1954. The two of them became a really busy couple, with both of them having a great entrepreneurial spirit. They were involved in developing many business ventures, including a trailer park, the Twilight Motel, Twilight Mobile Homes, a body shop, a mini-golf, a service station, and many other business opportunities that came along. All the while, she was teaching school full time. Her spirits were dampened with the sudden passing of Paul in 1982 but she pushed on with support from her Mom and Dad. These were tough years for Angeline and they took their toll on her, but she got through them. The passing later on of her father, and then her mother, were also very difficult for her. Angeline is survived by: a special cousin Lori (Mike) Kobialko and family of Wakaw; long time family friend Dean Berge of Prince Albert; her sister-in-law and brother-in-law Wanda and George Pipchuk and family of Wakaw; and numerous cousins on both the Turgeon and Simonot sides of the family. She will also be missed by her many former students, many of whom still kept in touch with her, and her best friends Bubs, Edith and Leona to name a few. She will be missed by so many. Angeline loved shopping and looking for deals, entertaining and travelling when Paul was here, watching the news, and especially lately, following US politics on CNN with Cindy or Nicki on her lap. She looked forward to her daily phone calls and visits from Lori and Dean, and her summer visits from Carol. She was a loyal friend and cousin who will never be forgotten. Rest in peace. A Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Monday, May 1 at River Park Funeral Home. At her request, a private graveside service will be held. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of River Park Funeral Home, Prince Albert, SK, 306 764-2727, Donald M. Moriarty, Funeral Director.
