It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the sudden passing of William Herbert Blundon of Chapel Arm, age 76 years old. Predeceased by parents Urias and Annie Blundon from Bay de Verde, in-laws George and Minnie Slade from Western Bay, sisters Margaret Hopkins and Ina Snelgrove, brothers-in-law Fred and Will Slade, grandchildren Ashleigh and Brooke Fillier. Surrounded by his loving family at St. Clare's Hospital who held his hand until the end. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Judy Blundon of 46 years, daughter Cynthia (Darryl), son David (Kurt), his most precious grand-daughter Brianna and his "grandsons" Gregory and Jeffrey White. Also left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his sister Janet (Ian), in-laws Dennis (Brenda) Slade, Kevin (Diane) Slade, nieces and nephews and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, Chapel Arm. Visitation Wednesday, and Thursday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm. Funeral service well be held on Friday, May 12 at 2:00 pm. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery Long Harbour Road. No flowers by request of the family, donations may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation or the Janeway Children's Hospital Foundation.
