Albert Joseph Travaline

It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we, the family, announce the passing of Albert Joseph Travaline. He passed away peacefully at the New Waterford Con. Hospital on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at the age of 96. Born on October 17, 1920, he was the son of the late James and Stella (Musial) Travaline.
Albert was lifelong resident of Gardiner Mines. He operated a dairy farm for over 40 years, was an avid gardener and his favourite pastime was reading.
He is survived by his sisters, Eleanor and Claudia; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his brother, Ronald, and his sister, Elsie.
By request, there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will take place in Forest Haven Memorial Garden under the direction of McLellan Brothers Funeral Home, 3183 Plummer Ave, New Waterford, NS, 902-862-7500.
