RANCOURT (nee Bussiere), Marie-Ange Leonie of St. Louis, SK. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marie-Ange Rancourt on May 15, 2017 at the age of 82. Marie was born in Saint-Front, SK on August 1st, 1934. Marie and her husband, Denis, spent many years in Prince George, BC. They moved to St. Louis in 1978. Mom spent her early years raising their 8 children. She then started working part-time at the St. Louis Rehabilitation Centre and then at the Lakeview Pioneer Lodge in Wakaw until her retirement in 1999. Mom stayed very busy with bowling and curling as well as volunteered for a number of organizations and was helping out wherever needed. Mom loved spending time with family and friends and you could often hear her chatting, laughing or humming a tune. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Alain (Patricia); Vivian (Louis) Senez; Guy (Jackie Romano); Lucien (Evelyn); Leslie (Betty); Martin (Claire); Susanne (Robin) Boyer; Nicole (Darren Solomon). She was also blessed with 22 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the St. Louis Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Ramel Macapala as celebrant. A private family committal will follow at the St. Louis Roman Catholic Cemetery. Donations in memory of Marie-Ange may be directed to the St. Joseph Senior Club P.O. Box 248 St. Louis, SK S0J 2C0.
