Vera May McKillop, passed away on Monday February 22, 2010 at the Loch Lomond Villa. Born March 25, 1913 in Hoyt, NB to the late Albert and Laura (Shanks) Byers. Vera is survived by a son Gordon (Betty), several grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews; sisters Edna Allen and Iona Osmon; Also sister-in-law Toots Byers. She was predeceased by brother Norman Byers; sisters, Gladys, Hilda, Emma, Lucinda, Hazel and Minnie.
As per Vera’s Request cremation has taken place and no service is being held. Memorial donations may be made to the Loch Lomond Villa Foundation or to a charity of the donor’s choice. The family will receive visitors at Gordon’s home (30 Ashfield Dr. Quispamsis) from 2 to 4 pm on Saturday February 27, 2010.
