Passed away after a brief illness on Saturday, January 26, 2008 at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's, Clayton Levi Squires aged 62 years, from Flower's Cove, formerly from St. Philips. Predeceased by his parents Levi and Lillian Squires, brothers Gordon, Ches, Len, and Ern Squires, St. Philips, son Ed Squires, Flower's Cove. Leaving to mourn wife Joan (Parsons), Flower's Cove, son Chris (Bella), BC, daughter Ruth Banks (Bob), Corner Brook, and six grandchildren. Sisters Louise Sharpe (Rob) and Irene Halliday (Steve), brothers Ralph Squires, and Cyril Squires (Karen), aunt Winnie Martin (Gerry). Mother-in-law Susie Parsons, sister-in-law Sylvia Kao, and brother-in-law Dave Parsons. Burial took place in Flower's Cove on Wednesday, January 30. A memorial service and celebration of his life will be held at St. Philip's Church on Sunday, February 3 at 2:00 p.m.May God keep him in His care.
