NEW GLASGOW- Christina Isabel Roulston, 87, New Glasgow, formerly of Mountain Road, passed away, Wednesday, February 7, 2007, in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Ray and Margaret (McNarin) Carson. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, New Glasgow, Pictou County Horticultural Society and the Canadian Dietetic Society. Christina was a kind, loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her quiet, gentle nature made her well liked and respected by anyone who knew her. Attention and devotion to family was her guiding virtue. Surviving are her husband of 59 years, Frank Otterson "Jake"; sons, Carson (Donna), Stellarton; Marc (Cyndy), Houston, Texas; sister, Eileen Carson, Ottawa; grandchildren: Wyatt, Travis, Lauren and Emilie. She was predeceased by her son, Frank "Tuffy". Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Friday in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Homel with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating. Spring burial will be in Lorne Street Cemetery, New Glasgow.
