Donald Carleton MacAulay
The passing of Donald Carleton MacAulay of Fredericton, NB, husband of the late Aleitha (Reardon) MacAulay occurred on Friday, August 31, 2018 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on August 27, 1931 in Englishtown, Cape Breton, NS, he was the son of the late Daniel and Dollie (MacQueen) MacAulay. Donald was retired from the Canadian Armed Forces, Military Police, after retirement he worked in security with University of New Brunswick. He was a member of Fredericton Royal Canadian Legion Branch #4. Donald is survived by his son, Carl MacAulay (Lynn) of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Kelsey and Landon; sisters Hughena Romkey (Paul) of Dartmouth, NS and Christine Matheson of Englishtown, NS; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, Fredericton, NB. A Private Graveside Service will take place in the Hermitage Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com.
