LaPIERRE, ROBERT "ROB" "ROBBIE"
1968 - 2015
Robert "Rob" LaPierre passed away recently in Dartmouth, NS.
He was a graduate of Ecole Mathieu Martin, Dieppe, and studied at University of New Brunswick 1987-1990 (Business Admin.) and Capilano University, BC (Horticultural Science). He recently moved from USA to Dartmouth and was employed with Clintar Landscape Management in Dartmouth.
Rob is survived by his parents, Louis and Joan (Carston) LaPierre, his wife Tatjana (Osswald), his children; Maija, Sophia, Michael, Mathieu, step-daughter Karina Osswald, and a brother, Paul. He is also survived by a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, great-aunts and uncles.
In his youth, Robbie was involved in many sports including hockey, football, soccer and later rugby. He coached the Ecole Mathieu Martin girls' soccer team while he was a student there. He was a very social, big hearted and had a hardy laugh.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be private.
