BRITTAIN, B. BRUCE - Peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital on March 11, 2005, B. Bruce Brittain of Saint John West, husband of Glenna (Ewart) Brittain. Born in Saint John, he was the son of Ruth (Galbraith) Brittain and the late G. Coster Brittain. Bruce was retired from Air Canada as a Customer Service Representative after 40 years of service at the Saint John Airport. He was a member of the Westfield Golf and Country Club and attended the Brethren Assembly in Saint John, and was an avid gardener. Surviving in addition to his wife Glenna and his mother Ruth are two brothers Harry and his wife Dianne of Saint John East and Hugh and his wife Rosalie of Saint John West; one sister Cynthia Buckle and her husband David of Rothesay; six nieces and four nephews. Predeceased by his father G. Coster Brittain. Resting at the Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home309 Lancaster Ave. (634-1701). Funeral service will be held at Hillcrest Baptist Church, 476 Lancaster Ave. on Tuesday March 15, 2005 at 11 am. Interment in Cedar Hill Cemetery in the spring. Visiting at "Fallsview" on Sunday and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or to the New Brunswick Lung Association or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. Following the service, a reception will take place in the church hall.
