GAGNON, THERESA - After a courageous battle with cancer, Theresa Gagnon of Bairdsville passed away at her home on March 1, 2007. Born in Lerwick on January 5, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Rachel (Hathaway) Dufour. She leaves behind her husband of 48 years Noel Gagnon; her daughter Laurine Gagnon of Bairdsville; her sisters Anita (Bernard) Davenport and Margaret (Walter) Smith both of Perth-Andover, Bessie (Jack) Rafter of Carlingford, Leitha (Maynard) Tomlinson of Arthurette. She was predeceased by her sisters Marjorie Craig, Mareta Johnston, Hilda Levesque, and Geneva Dufour. Theresa, along with her husband, owned and operated the Valley View Motel in Bairdsville. Theresa was a Lifetime Member of the C.W.L. Resting at Brunswick Funeral Home with visitation on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Monday March 5, 2007 at 11 am from St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church. Father Curtis Sappier officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery at later date. There will be a C.W.L. memorial service held at the funeral home on Sunday at 3 pm.
