Passed in: Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada

September 24, 1969 - November 9, 2009

It is with great sadness, we announce the sudden passing of our oldest son, Terry Neil Maki on November 9, 2009.

He leaves to mourn him, his only son Tony, his parents Neil and Rhona Maki, his brother Dennis, his sister Karryann; grandmothers: Grace Maki and Ruby Salmon; uncles and aunts Eric and Bonnie Maki, Raelene Hanson and Dave and Gail Sootheran; nieces Taylor, Ariel, Alysa, Adrianne and Isabella; stepson Alex; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Terry was born in Kamloops on September 24, 1969 and lived here for most of his life, graduating from Norkam Secondary. He played hockey as a child, hunted and fished. He loved to read and always had his nose in a book and he loved to laugh. We will all miss his sense of humour, but most of all his laughter.

As an adult, he worked very hard at many jobs, his latest being, building Allan Block walls, of which he was very proud.
A Celebration of Terry's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on November 16, 2009 at Kamloops United Church, 421 St. Paul Street.

The family request that any expressions of sympathy take the form of a donation to the Kamloops Brain Injury Association at 408 Victoria Street, Kamloops, V2C 2A7, in Memory of Terry.

Service arrangements have been entrusted to Personal Alternative Funeral Services. 250-554-2324.
