Bush It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of on Saturday, December 27, 2008. June was born in Tuxford, Saskatchewan on March 7, 1929, the fourth daughter of Phyllis and James Machan. She attended school in Tuxford, becoming a telephone operator after graduation. On May 31, 1952 June married Earl Bush in Moose Jaw. After several moves, they returned to Moose Jaw, where both of her children were born. She also spent many years working at a day care center - a job she enjoyed greatly. June had many hobbies and interests; she loved to be outside in her garden and enjoyed knitting and needlework. June always enjoyed travel with casino bus trips being a recent favorite. She was a dog lover and had a special place in her heart for all of the Shelties in her family. More than anything June loved to spend time with her family, especially her three grandchildren. Predeceased by her mother and father, Phyllis and James Machan; her mother and father-in-law, Katie and Alfred Bush; her sisters: Vivien Griffith and Norma Bannerman, and brothers-in-law: Jim Bush, Russell Wickstrom and Angus Bannerman, June is survived by her husband, Earl; children: Jeffrey (Candace) Bush and Susan (Blair) Leptich; grandchildren: Megan (Thomas), Adam and Mark; sisters: Peggy (Joe) Ramage and Leslie Wickstrom, sister-in-law, Reta Bush, as well as a large extended family. A Celebration of June's Life will be held on Friday, January 2, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. in the W. J. J ones & Son Funeral Chapel, 106 Athabasca St. E., Moose Jaw. Della Ferguson will officiate. Memorialization will take place at a later date. For those so wishing, memorial donations in June's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 61B Ross St. W., Moose Jaw S6H 2M2.
