Louis G. McCourt, age 70, of Cornwall and formerly of Albany, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Sunday, May 11, 2008. Louie is survived by his loving wife, Frances (nee Sherry); daughter, Sherry McCourt (Perry Mohan), Cornwall; and sons, Paul (Lisa) of Toronto, Greg (Ida) of Kingston, P.E.I., Mark (Marlene) of Ottawa, Ian (Debbie) of Drayton Valley, Alberta and Darcy of Charlottetown. He was the loving grandfather of Christopher, Mallory, Ashley, Andrew, Jenna, Riley, Matthew, Lauren, Trevor, Chanel, Nicole, Adam, Rielle, Jacob, Marley and two great-grandchildren, Taylor and Jaidyn. Louie is also survived by his brothers, Alfred (Minerva), Cornwall and Justin (Velda), Kinkora. He was predeceased by his parents, Mervin and Adeline McCourt; his stepmother, Myrtle (nee Duffy) and young grandsons, Jarrett Coles and Alexander McCourt. Resting at Central Queen's Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, P.E.I.
