Peacefully at the Perley & Rideau Veterans’ Health Centre on July 14, 2008, at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Margaret (Peggy), nee Moore. Loving father of Sandra and Brian (Holly). Cherished grandfather of Kimberley Miller (late Edward O’Brien) and Christopher Miller (Lori). Proud great-grandfather of Molly and Max Miller. Lovingly remembered by brothers John (Joyce) and Max (Shirley), sister Janet, sisters-in-law Ethel Scott (Hector) and Jennie Macneill (John), brother-in-law Herbert Moore (Myrna) and his many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Rd. at Aviation Parkway on Thursday, July 17, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial service to be held at Rothwell United Church, 42 Sumac St., Ottawa, on Friday, July 18, at 2 p.m. with a reception to follow.
