(O'BRIEN), Mary Anita of Ferryland, age 75, passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family on March 10th at the HSC. Predeceased by her parents Michael and Philomena O'Brien, brothers: Jack, Pad, Jim, Leo and sister Gertie O'Keefe. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her devoted husband of 57 years, Joseph; three daughters: Eileen (David), Audery (Cy), Juanita (Rick); five sons: John (Bernadine, Brian (Marilyn), Desi (Monnie), Fraser (Marlene), Chris (Daphne); fourteen grandchildren: Dale, Johnny, Scott, Justin, Bradley, Lee, Amy, Lisa, Blair, Rebecca Paul, Janice, Eddie (Rachel) Sheppard, Hillary and Emily Oxford. Also four great-grandchildren: Abigahl O'Neill, Joshua, Edison, Sydney Sheppard. Also leaving to mourn sisters: Annie Jordan (Bren), Florence Stowe and brother William O'Brien, Halifax, N.S.; Special friends: Darlene Hayes (Randy, Emma) and Gertie Sesk. Also a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Fahey's Funeral Home, Fermeuse, Tuesday and Wednesday, March 11, 12, 2008 from 2-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Trinity Church, Ferryland on Thursday, March 13, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Ferryland.
