59, died Saturday May 3, 2008 at home in Pine Grove Mills, Pennsylvania. Born May 14, 1948 in Twillingate, Newfoundland, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Gladys (Norman) Andrews of Nipper's Harbour. On June 6, 1970 she married Clinton S. Herrick, who survives. She was a graduate of Springdale High School. She received her Bachelor's Degree from the Memorial University of Newfoundland and her Master's Degree in Teaching English as a Second Language from Penn State University. She was employed as an instructor in the Intensive English Communication Program at Penn State. She taught English for one year in Istanbul, Turkey. She enjoyed traveling and was a very family oriented person. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Susan Siu and her husband, Steve, of Lewiston, Maine, Margaret Herrick, and Darby Lezhava and her husband, Levan, all of Pine Grove Mills, Pennsylvania; her grandchildren, Sebastian Siu and Sophia Lezhava; and her brother Roy Andrews and his wife, Louise, of Labrador City, Newfoundland. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements under the direction of Koch Funeral Home, State College, Pennsylvania.
