The death occurred at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, on Monday, February 22, 2010 of Daisy Dawson of Bedeque, aged 83 years, wife of the late Sydney Dawson. Born in Woodstock, New Brunswick on August 13, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Frederick George Mullis and the late Mary Ann Rogers. Mother of Annie Marie (Donnie) Smith, Bedeque; Charles of Charlottetown; Joy (Robert) McKenna, Newton and Della (Doug) Ferguson, Crapaud. Also survived by son-in law, Vernon MacDonald, Bedeque and daughter-in-law, Susan Dawson, of Charlottetown. Ten grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Besides her husband, Sydney Dawson, she is predeceased by a daughter, Lyn. Resting at Lawless Funeral Home, 21 Somerset St., Kinkora with visiting hours Tuesday, February 23, 2 - 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at North Tryon Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, February 24 at 11 a.m. Interment will be in the church cemetery immediately following the service. Donations may be made in memory of Daisy to the A.M.S. of Mount Tryon Presbyterian Church or the North Tryon Presbyterian Building Fund.
