Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on February 21, 2010, Hilda Inkpen, age 89 years. Predeceased by her husband Ray and sons Eldon and Melvin. Leaving to mourn her son Wayne (Ann); sister Greta Conti (Lew); grandchildren: Kelly Ann Dawe (Doug); David Inkpen (Giselle); Andrew Inkpen (Darcie); Derek Inkpen (Raimi); Christopher Inkpen (Helen) and Colin Inkpen; step-grandchildren: Susan and James Inkpen; eleven great-grandchildren; daughters-in-law: Judy and Beverley Inkpen and many other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends may visit the family on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road. Funeral service will take place at the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at 2 p.m. Interment in St. Lawrence at a later date.
