TRENTON – Lewis MacKay Smith, age 76, of Duchess Ave., Trenton, passed away Monday, February 22, 2010 in the Aberdeen Hospital.
Born in Guysborough, he was a son of the late Lewis Arthur and Love (Malloy) Smith.
He was a retired welder from Trenton Works. He was an avid fisherman.
He is survived by his wife, Greta Joyce (Davidson); son, Gary (Jean), Trenton; grandchildren: Derrick, Stanley, Jacqueline and Tanya; five great-grandchildren; sisters: Dokie (Phillip) Stewart, Thorburn; Chickie MacCuish, Trenton; Whitey (Jim) MacKinnon, MacLellan’s Brook; Edna (Ross) Martin, Trenton; brother, Sheldon (Linda), Hillside.
He was predeceased by daughter, Debra; sister, Tina.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service by request.
Donations in his memory may be made to a charity of choice.
