1952 - 2010. Passed suddenly away on Saturday, February 20, 2010, Maxwell Ross Smith, age 57 years, from Point La Haye, St. Mary's Bay, formerly of Sunnyside, Trinity Bay. Predeceased by parents Alfred and Virtue Smith, two brothers, one sister. Leaving to mourn Candice Frat, friend; son Chad (Nadia), son Maxwell; daughter Shauna (Blair) of Ontario; brothers: Leslie (Evelyn), Whitbourne, Alec (Susan), Labrador City, Derrick (Margaret), Nova Scotia; sisters: Mildred Oldham, Indianna, Delcie Stacey (Velmore), Garden Cove, Muriel Lambert (Walter), St. John’s, Myrtle Gilbert (Ivan), Labrador City, Gennie Tucker, Paradise; grandmother Mary Frances Smith, Clarenville Seniors Complex; a large circle of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visitation at Holloway’s Funeral Home in Whitbourne from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Internment to follow at United Church, Sunnyside, Trinity Bay, Friday, February 26th at 2 p.m. Donations can be made to the Church Cemetery Fund. He will be sadly missed and ever remembered by all.
