Clark, Eleanor Mae – 88, Hilden and formerly of Truro, passed away October 5, 2008 in Val’s Rest Home, Hilden with her granddaughter Debbie by her side. Born in Lattie’s Brook, she was a daughter of the late John and Louisa Lattie. Eleanor’s greatest strength came from her faith in God. She is survived by son, Charles, Truro; granddaughters, Debbie Clark, Masstown; Brenda Connors, Debert; Victoria Clark, Truro; Charlene Clark, Truro; great-grandchildren, Chris, Brandon, Jillian, Hannah, Marissa and Erica; sister, Edna Cameron, Shubenacadie; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Adam; brothers, Percy and Robert; sister, Mary and long time friend, Thompson Bilby. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 8, from 7 to 9 p.m., funeral service on Thursday, Oct. 9, at 2 p.m. both in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro, Rev. Lori Ramsey officiating. Interment in Terrace Hill Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in her memory may be made to the IWK Health Centre or a charity of choice.
