NEW GLASGOW – Annie May MacIntosh, 89, New Glasgow, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2008, in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Stellarton, she was a daughter of the late Thomas William and Annabelle (MacDonald) MacKay. She was a member of Trinity United Church, New Glasgow and former member of the UCW. Surviving are her daughter, Froncey MacIntosh, New Glasgow; grandsons: Dr. Alan (Elizabeth) MacIntosh, New Glasgow; Kevin (Mary) MacIntosh, Black Point; Stephen (Susan) MacIntosh; Westville; Calvin MacIntosh (Dianne Scanlon), New Glasgow; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Rafuse, Windsor; Audrey Hooper, Coxheath; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, John Cecil MacIntosh; son, Barry MacIntosh; sister, Murdena MacConnell; brothers, Alex MacKay and Tom MacKay. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. today in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow, from where a memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Friday with Ms. Lori Crocker, Diaconal Minister officiating. Interment will be in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens with a reception to follow in Trinity United Church Multi-purpose Room.
