Audrey Ella Lucci age 67, of Amherst passed away Monday, October 6, 2008 at the QE II Health Sciences Centre, Infirmary Site, Halifax, N.S. Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Salter and Ruth (Turnbull) Patton. She worked at Northern Telecom in Amherst for several years. Audrey loved her children and grandchildren and enjoyed reading, shopping and playing cards. Audrey is survived by her husband Bill; three daughters, Lorraine Beale (Reggie) of Amherst, Sherry (Todd) Canton of Truro and Ruth (Michael) Grant of Bridgewater; one son Trevor (Terri Lynn) of Amherst; seven grandchildren: Derek, Shanna, Alicia, Brianne, Aleena, Reggie-Dane and Brady; one great-grandson Evan; five brothers: Frederick Patton of Toronto, Donald (June) Patton of Westville, N.S., Gerald Patton of Vancouver, BC, Robert Patton of Fort McMurray, AB, Charles (Heather) Patton of Little Harbour, NS; five sisters: Helen (Ernie) Mason of Amherst, Joyce (Bruce) Snell of New Glasgow, NS, Shirley White (Jim) of Amherst, Marie Patton of Amherst and Bev Patton (Bruce) of Amherst and many many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one son Dane; two brothers Gary and David and two sisters Margaret Fraser and Betty Pyke. At the request of the deceased there will be no visitation and a private funeral service will be held at a later date. Interment will take place in the Amherst Cemetery.
