Born in New Glasgow, NS, May 31, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Cecilia (Kirwan)?MacDonald; step-daughter to Larry MacDonald, Ardness. She is survived by her husband, John (Chuck), 25 years; son, Rob; daughter, Ashley; brothers: Tim (Krista), Coquitlam, BC; Peter (Karen), Port Moody, BC; Gerard (Carol), Egerton; Rob, Pickering, ON; Lonny, Ardness; Randy (Rachel),?New Glasgow; sister, Lisa (Kenny), New Glasgow; many nieces and nephews. Godmother to Scott. Predeceased by sister, Bernadette; and brother, Blase. Cremation has taken place. Bernie will be missed for her genuine laugh and kindness to all who knew her.
