HURLEY – Beverley Ann aged 67 years of Bent Street, Springhill, passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2008, in All Saints Hospital, Springhill. Born in Springhill, she was a daughter of the Late Stanley and Annie (Holden) Henwood. During her working years, she was employed with Stedman's, Gibb's Snack Bar and Oxford Frozen Foods. She enjoyed her camp, friends, but most of all she lived for her family, especially her grand and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Darrell Hurley; sons, Chris Arseneau, Elkford, B.C., Kirk (Darlene) Hurley and Todd (Terry) Hurley both of Fernie, B.C.; daughter, Teresa (Shane) Porter, Springhill; brothers; Tom Henwood, Amherst, Kenneth (Karen) Henwood of Springhill and Douglas (Heather) Henwood of Sparwood, B.C.; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Bernadette, and a brother, Edward in infancy. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held 1 – 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 19, 2008, followed immediately at 2 p.m. by a memorial funeral service, with the Reverend Marilyn Haugen-Strand officiating, both held in A. H. Brown Funeral Home, Springhill. Burial in Hillside Cemetery, Springhill. If so desired, donations to the G.O.V.R.C. Workshop would be appreciated.
