Retired member of the St. John's Regional Fire Department, East End Station after 25 years of service. Passed suddenly away at his residence on Tuesday, June 3, 2008, Bruce Predham, aged 58 years. Predeceased by his parents Bride and John Predham; daughter Chrissy Predham and brothers: James and William Predham. Leaving to mourn are his loving wife and best friend Marjorie Predham (nee Mercer); son James (Liliana); sister Barb Walsh (John); brothers: Gerry (Pat) and John (Barb); mother-in-law Sarah Mercer and father-in-law Hector Mercer; sisters-in-law: Madonna and Marcella Gomes (Vic); brothers-in-law: Melvin Mercer (Pauline) and Wallace Mercer (Kathy); loving granddaughter Ireland; loving grandsons: Sebastian, Christian and Lucas; special nephew Terry Predham; long-time friend Ted Chafe; as well as many other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Thursday from 10-12 noon, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place at St. Teresa's Church on Friday, June 6, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Bruce's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
